We have very limited availability as we only raise about a dozen beef animals by hand each year. Our animals are fed twice a day, every day. We take great pride in our safe and low-stress handling methods, providing access to fresh water and hay/grass pasture 24/7, and using high-quality feed that we grow and harvest on our farm.

Due to the custom nature of buying a side of beef and our extremely limited availability, we require a deposit on every order to secure your reservation. Our appointments with Johnson’s Processing are made a year in advance, so we cannot move appointment dates within the year. To spread out payments after making your deposit, you can use the $200 payment towards order option. I will confirm receipt and it will go towards your final balance. The final price is determined by the weight of the animal and thus varies for each order. After the animal goes into the processor, we obtain its weight from Johnson’s and then can bill any remaining amount minus deposits or extra payments. All beef must be paid in full before we release it from the processor to you. You must also pay Johnson’s Processing for the processing when you pick up your order in Chadwick, IL. There is no on-farm pickup or dropoff, because we want to ensure your beef is USDA-inspected and kept at proper freezer temperature before you pick it up.
